VEGAS BABY!!

Well we (my family and I) traveled about 1,000 miles and two days in our van and all my stuff packed up in the back. We arrived Wednesday night to our old home. It feels weird to be back to Las Vegas. I barely even thought about it recently and now that I'm here I'm not sure how to feel! I think Midland is my home, but how can I not even consider Las Vegas home when I lived there for 16 years! Anyways! I got together with the BFF for life KATIE CHRISTENSEN!!!

Then we went to Meadows Mall and shopped around for a bit! I went to my fav store FOREVER 21! LOVE!
and got a pretzel and cherry lemonade!!!
Then Katie, Daniela and I watched FLIPPED! What a cute lil movie :) if you havent seen it, you should. Adorable.

Mini golfing!

Well since Saturday was my last weekend here in midland, deegan and I decided to go on a mini golf date at green acres:) I won btw. Even though if I played completely fair he would have won by a couple because I hit mine way out and did a couple do overs ;) and we had dinner at Wing stop since there isn't one in Vegas and I don't think there is one in Provo.

Well my room is all packed! Of course I'm only missing one thing and it's my nook charger which I cannot find anywhere :/ I just used it Thursday. O well I guess!

One week left

Ahh only one week left until I leave for college!! What do I bring? How will all of this fit in the car? This is going to be interesting is all I can say. For months I have been super exited and super scared. I wondered if I should just go the the university 20 minutes away for a year and save up. But nope. BYU is where I'm headed :) and I really can't wait. I really hope that everything works out! I got an internship for financial analyzing, so I hope that helps me decide if I really want that to be my goal for four years. I'm also taking beginning piano, which hopefully will allow me to chill and enjoy for an hour of my day.
I'm very happy that I don't have to worry about working since, thanks to Texas Roadhouse, pell grant and scholarship,  I have enough money saved to pay for my first two semesters and some. Hopefully it will last and add a cushion for starting the cycle of frantically saving next year.
It's also scary to think that in less than a year my best friend and boyfriend will be leaving on his mission for two whole years!! Who will listen to me when I freak or put up with my constant crying? I don't know, but what I do know is that day will be so bittersweet. I want him to go, but gosh I wish he could stay.

College!

It's almost here!! The time to go experience life for myself! I'm so scared and so excited at the same time! I hope  I don't get too home sick. I've been talking to my roommates on Facebook and I am SO glad they are normal, and better yet, awesome! I couldn't have picked better roommates. THe whole process I was sure I was going to get someone totally different than me in a bad way. I've registered for my classes, have my room, meal plan, signed up for orientation, and my tuition is payed for so all I have left to do is pack up my room and buy all the gadgets I'll need like a blender, dishes, etc. You get the picture.
